What We Offer

Turn-Key Fireplaces

If you have a home that doesn’t have a fireplace, but want to add one, we can make that happen. We have the ability to provide a turn-key project to add an electric, wood-burning, or gas fireplace to any home. This is usually a three-step process that involves framing, fireplace install, and wall finish.

Here’s a little more info on this process:

Framing Icon

Step 1: Framing

Once the design is complete and it’s time to get to work, our framing team will come in and perform the framing and any electrical work that needs to be done prior to the fireplace installation. Installation of any wood products is also done during this phase – this would be the case if we are providing a wood mantel, cabinets, bookshelves, etc. This is usually a 1 day phase.

Step 3: Wall Finish

After the fireplace is installed, we then come in to finish the project. This can be done with brick, stone, drywall, shiplap, or a combination of them. This phase usually takes 1 to 2 days. We understand that the home we are working in is lived in, so we strive to be as clean and fast as possible. Once construction begins, the total process usually takes 3 to 4 days to complete.

Additonal Services

Wood Burning Fireplaces

Wood-Burning-Fireplaces
We offer a wide variety of wood burning fireplaces that range in levels of efficiency. The most economical choice is a simple builder’s box fireplace (Example: Astria Craftsman). These are typically chosen if the homeowner is not intending on using them for a heating source. They are good for having occasional fires in the evenings and will heat a small area, such as a great room, in the event of a power outage. The next step up from a basic builder’s box is larger pre-fab fireplaces that end up looking more like a traditional masonry fireplace (Example: Astria Georgian). These fireplaces are usually chosen by homeowners that want an upgraded look and intend on using them more. With these fireplaces, you are able to custom select the interior refractory panels to better tailor the appearance that you desire.

On the other end of the efficiency spectrum is our high-efficiency fireplace line (Examples: Astria Montecito Estate, Supreme Astra Series, Empire St. Clair Series). These fireplaces are usually chosen by homeowners that plan to use the fireplace as a main heating source for their home. These fireplaces have the pleasing look of a fireplace, but operate and radiate heat more like that of a high-efficiency wood stove. They are available in a range of sizes, depending on how large of an area is needing heated. All of the fireplaces that we offer are zero clearance and have the option of blowers to help circulate the heat throughout the house.

Wood Burning Stoves

Wood-Burning-Stoves
Adding a freestanding wood stove to any existing home is the cheapest and easiest way to create a high-efficiency heating source that can be used to heat all the time, or on an as-needed basis during power outages and extremely cold nights. Most all of the units have the option of being used with legs or a pedestal, depending on which look you prefer. These units are easy to install and many are approved for modular/ mobile home installations. (Examples: Regency F2450, Vermont Castings Encore, Regency F2500)

Wood Burning Inserts

Wood-Burning-Inserts
If you have an existing wood burning fireplace, but are tired of losing most of your heat out of the flue, then a wood burning insert may be the choice for you. These wood burning stoves are made to be inserted into existing fireplaces, connected to the existing flue, and sealed up with a trim kit. Depending on the condition of your existing chimney flue, you may or may not need to reline your flue in order to operate safely. However, we recommend that a liner be installed and connected to any wood burning insert. This creates an additional wall of safety and gives the units a direct connect, which maximizes the insert’s performance and efficiency. There are even a couple small units available that can be inserted into pre-fab fireplace applications. (Examples: Regency I2450, Regency I2500, Hampton HI500)

Gas Log Sets

Gas-Log-Sets

If you are tired of dealing with wood on your wood burning fireplace, or are just looking for an easy-to-use heating alternative, then a good choice is a gas log set. There are two types: vented (Example: White Mountain Hearth Elite Radiant Burner) and vent free (White Mountain Hearth Slope Glaze Burner). Vent free is the most efficient option, and should be chosen if your goal is for ambience and heating larger areas. If your goal is strictly for ambience and for a decent amount of radiant heat, then a vented gas log set may be the best option for you. These log sets can be added to most existing masonry or pre-fab fireplace, and are available in propane or natural gas.

Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces

Direct-Vent-Gas-Fireplace

A direct vent gas fireplace can add ambience and a good heat source to any new or existing home. They are zero clearance units that can be built-in and surrounded by stone, drywall, or wood cabinet surrounds. They operate at roughly 80% efficiency on average, and are available in propane or natural gas. (Examples: Regency Horizon HZ42STE Medium Gas Fireplace, Regency Bellavista B41XTE, Regency Grandview G800)

Direct Vent Gas Stoves

Direct-Vent-Gas-Stove

A freestanding gas stove is a simple way to add a backup gas heat source to your home. They operate at roughly 80% efficiency, and can be used with or without a blower. There are a variety of these easy-to-install units available in propane or natural gas. (Examples: Vermont Castings, Regency Classic C34)

Vent Free Gas Fireplaces

Vent-Free-Gas-Fireplace

One of the most efficient heating sources available today is a vent free gas fireplace. Just like the direct vent units, they can be easily added to any new or existing home. These units are the easiest to install, because they are vent-free, which means they have absolutely no flue pipe! This is what makes these units 100% efficient, since virtually all the heat comes into your home. All that is needed to install these fireplaces is a gas line and a few tools. They are available in natural gas or propane. (Examples: White Mountain Hearth Vail Series, White Mountain Hearth Breckenridge Series)

Pellet Stoves and Inserts

Pellet-Stoves

If you like the feeling of warm wood heat, but want to go without the mess, a pellet stove or insert may be the choice for you. These units are easy to install, using just a 3” or 4” flue pipe. They are available as either freestanding for any home or as inserts to be installed into existing masonry fireplaces. These units require a little more maintenance than the other heating options, but are great heaters, nonetheless. (Examples: Regency Greenfire GF55 Stove, Breckwell Maverick P22 Insert, Breckwell Big E II Pellet Stove)
